Our mission
Let's Get Back Outdoors
Ultimate Tailgating's mission is to bring friends and family together by providing fun outdoor games! Our society has turned to a world full to technology that it seems that we sometimes can't get away from. We believe that putting time aside without screens in front of us, or just spontaneously getting outdoors gives us that break we need.
Opening a business has been a dream of ours, but we never knew exactly what we would do.
One day it clicked. After sharing stories with our kids on how we used to play outside until the street lights came on, or how we never used to have fancy cell phones, we felt like they were missing out on the active and imaginative experiences we had. We want to see more people playing at the parks, more family time spent, and more social interactions in our own community.
This is a family owned, one of a kind, local New Mexico business.
About Us
The Owners
Krystal and Chris had a vision to become business owners. They never knew exactly what they would open, but they were determined to fulfill that dream. They are parents of 6 children who are the highlight of their lives. They were truly the inspiration for the idea and mission behind Ultimate Tailgating. Opening and owning a business was going to be a task, but according to Krystal, "I will do whatever it takes to help make things happen."
"Not sure if it was a night of playing cornhole in the backyard, or how it happened but we decided we needed to open a store and provide outdoor games to get kids and families off the screens," Chris stated. That idea and statement is what drove the two of them to open Ultimate Tailgating.
